At 1919 SPA, two expressions of heritage meet in one experience. Housed within a century-old wooden structure dated 12 October 1919, the spa at Korurua Dijiwa Ubud pairs the character of aged timber with Balinese wellness traditions, creating a setting where the history of the space continues through the ritual performed inside it.
The venue sets the first layer of the experience. Wooden pathways, gardens and lotus ponds lead towards an intimate treatment space shaped by more than a century of age. Once inside, the Balinese approach to wellness carries that sense of place further through touch, natural ingredients and traditional body rituals. Elements such as boreh, herbal preparations and locally rooted massage techniques reflect a treatment philosophy that feels naturally at home within the old wooden surroundings.
Together, the setting and the ritual give 1919 SPA its identity: a wellness experience where Balinese tradition feels naturally rooted in a space that has carried its own character for more than a century.
“The character of 1919 SPA comes from the connection between the space and the ritual.
