The second edition of Jumeirah Bali’s Curated Wellness Programme invites guests to nurture balance, renewal, and inner freedom. Following the successful launch of its Curated Wellness Series, Amukti Jiwa, Jumeirah Bali welcomed wellness enthusiasts to experience the second edition. Derived from Old Javanese, Amukti Jiwa signifies the liberation of the soul, a state of harmony, balance, and renewal. Conceived as an evolving series, Amukti Jiwa reimagines ancient philosophies and mindful practices within the serene sanctuary of Talise Spa. Each edition introduces a thoughtfully curated journey, guided by practitioners who bring diverse expertise in movement, energy, and holistic well-being.
The second edition began at The Library, where guests took part in Meditative Art. Guests first learned to read their Chakra through the Balinese Wewaran, a traditional calendar system that interprets energy cycles, and matched it with aromatherapy essences chosen for incense making. With intention and presence, they crafted Balinese cone incense from sandalwood powder using calming finger-kneading techniques - a mindful practice that blended creativity with emotional release and spiritual balance.
The journey continued at Bale Wicaksana with Sound Healing, guided by three practitioners using both crystal and Tibetan singing bowls. The harmony of crystal and metal instruments bathed body and mind in resonant vibrations, bringing deep relaxation, energy renewal, and inner balance. To close, participants enjoyed wholsesome refreshments, including adaptogenic drinks with nourishing bites curated by Jumeirah Bali’s culinary team and Talise Spa, a mindful end to the holistic journey.
Reflecting the philosophy of Talise Spa, Amukti Jiwa blends self-discovery, mindfulness, and renewal. The series continues as a regular part of Jumeirah Bali’s wellness calendar, offering evolving encounters that guide guests and the wider community toward a deeper connection with themselves and their surroundings.
