hu’u Village Launches with a Block Party in Seminyak

There’s something new happening in Seminyak. This August, hu’u Village officially launches with a casual Block Party, a sunset-to-night celebration that brings together food, music, creativity, and a tight-knit community spirit.

Tucked along Jalan Petitenget, hu’u Village is a multi-concept lifestyle space built around the idea of connection. Once known for its nightlife roots, the hu’u legacy now returns in a new form — as a modern gathering place where independent brands come together to offer great food, local craft, and laid-back experiences under one roof.

The launch will spotlight five tenants, each bringing their own flavor to the village. Baba G Pizza Place, once known as Babaghanoush, is back with a fresh identity: a comfort-first pizzeria where the dough is made daily and the toppings feel both nostalgic and bold.

Deli Island is the village’s all-day deli, where everything’s made from scratch from hand-shaped sourdough to house-cured meats. The menu celebrates quality ingredients and big, satisfying sandwiches that are simple but done right.

Issho Izakaya Taproom brings a brewery vibe to Seminyak, serving up cold beers, crisp highballs, and Japanese-style plates designed for sharing. It’s a relaxed space that works for an easy afternoon or a low-key night out.

Republic of Soap adds a different kind of experience: an interactive scent bar where guests can mix and bottle their own custom fragrances on the spot. It’s playful, sensory, and personal.

Rounding it out is Ruby Lux, a boutique tattoo studio by Artful Ink. Set in a calm and private space, it offers a refined, intimate setting for fine-line tattoo artistry and creative expression.

The Block Party will take place in The Commons, the open-air courtyard at the heart of hu’u Village — with music (Ghostnote Acoustic + DJ Meta), great food from each outlet, and hands-on experiences like flash tattoos and DIY bath bombs. There’ll also be soft launch promos and little surprises throughout the evening.

With this launch, hu’u Village introduces a fresh take on what a lifestyle space can be: creative, collaborative, and rooted in the spirit of Seminyak. It’s a place to eat, hang out, express yourself, and feel part of something.
