There is something deeply satisfying about a well-made burger, and BB52 Burgers takes the craft seriously. Across its Bali outlets, from Ungasan and Uluwatu to Canggu, Ubud, Kerobokan and Jimbaran, BB52 Burgers brings together homemade ingredients, locally sourced produce and 100% Australian beef to create burgers that are straightforward, indulgent and full of character. With more outlets on the way, the BB52 burger story continues to grow across the island.
BB52 Burgers Serves Up Serious Craft Burgers in Bali
Behind the scenes, BB52 takes a hands-on approach to its ingredients, with buns, bread and pickles made in-house. The kitchen bakes everything from potato roll and sesame buns to pretzel buns, brioche, sourdough and muffins, while the sauces are specially crafted by the team. Fresh tomatoes, onions, and other vegetables are locally sourced from Bedugul.

The foundation of every burger is its beef. BB52 Burgers uses 100% Australian beef that is minced without any additional ingredients or fillers, keeping the patties as pure as possible. Salt and pepper are added only during cooking, allowing the natural flavour of the meat to remain at the forefront.

For a first taste, the OG Burger is a fitting choice. Its 170-gram Australian beef patty is cooked using the flat-iron grill method, giving the meat a beautifully seared exterior while keeping the centre juicy. It comes with American-style yellow cheddar, Emmy sauce, sour homemade pickles and caramelised onions, all tucked into a homemade pretzel bun.

The combination hits the right balance of rich and tangy. The melted cheddar and caramelised onion bring sweetness and depth, while the sour pickles cut through the richness of the beef. The pretzel bun adds a slightly chewy texture and enough structure to hold everything together without stealing attention from the patty.
For something a little more adventurous, look out for BB52's Special of the Month, the Truffle Smashroom Burger. This limited-time creation takes a different approach with double smash patties, where a higher fat ratio results in a juicier, more tender bite.

The burger is layered with mushrooms, truffle sauce, and yellow cheddar before being finished with a soft potato roll. BB52 Burgers uses a tangzhong-style method, a technique originating from China, to give the bun its notably soft and pillowy texture. Paired with the rich smash patties and earthy truffle, it makes for a more decadent take on the classic burger.
Sides are made for sharing, and the Truffle Parmesan Fries are an easy favourite. Crisp fries are coated in fermented truffle sauce, then finished with an abundant dusting of parmesan and a scattering of chives. Rich, savoury and fragrant.

For something fresher, the Green Salad offers a lighter counterpoint to the indulgence of the burgers, tossed in a tangy lemon dressing that keeps the palate bright and refreshing.

BB52 also has a few options for those looking to keep things lighter without skipping the burger. The Skinny Bitch swaps the bun for an iceberg lettuce wrap, holding a 120g Australian beef patty with caramelised onions, yellow cheddar, pickles and secret sauce. There are also several vegan burgers on the menu, including the Basic Not So Basic and Earth Burger, making room for plant-based diners alongside the classic burger crowd.
Beyond burgers, BB52 Burgers’ Ungasan outlet also serves roasted chicken from Bara Bali Rotisserie. The Half Chicken is a generous plate of Bara’s signature marinated chicken, served with rice and chicken gravy. The chicken is brined overnight with black pepper, salt, sugar and water, then rubbed with herbs, paprika, cayenne and garlic powder before being slowly roasted on a rotisserie. The result is juicy meat with tender cuts of both thigh and breast, while the seasoning works its way through for flavour in every bite. A ladle of chicken-stock gravy ties everything together. It tastes delicious, with a pleasant smoky flavour that adds depth without overpowering the chicken.

To wash it all down, BB52 keeps the drinks menu refreshing and easy-going. The Berry Kombucha brings a fruity, lightly tangy fizz that makes a refreshing match for the richer burgers and sides. For something greener, the Green Glow packs kale, celery, apple, lemon and mint into a fresh juice loaded with fibre and a bright, clean finish.

In Ungasan, where casual dining and late-night bites are part of the South Bali rhythm, BB52 Burgers fits right in. Open from 11am to 3am, it is an easy stop for everything from a midday burger fix to a late-night feast.
