Taking place on August 20 and 21, 2026, at 7:00 PM at Tangelo Bali, the experience invites guests to discover a new expression of Korean cuisine within Tangelo’s intimate evening atmosphere, where soft lighting, quiet surroundings, and Ubud’s gentle night air create a calm setting for a thoughtful culinary experience.

Led by Chef Ray (Suhwa Ku), Jang Table reflects a culinary journey shaped across South Korea, Australia, and Hong Kong. His career includes roles at several acclaimed and hat-awarded restaurants in Australia, where he developed a deep appreciation for fermentation and wood-fire cooking, as well as a formative tenure at Mingles, Seoul's renowned three-Michelin-star restaurant celebrated for its refined approach to contemporary Korean cuisine. There, he further honed his commitment to precision, creativity, and exceptional hospitality. These experiences come together at Jang Table, a concept rooted in his Korean heritage and enriched by the techniques, perspectives, and inspirations gathered throughout his international culinary journey.

The name “Jang” refers to the traditional Korean fermented sauces that form an essential foundation of Korean cuisine. Inspired by this heritage, Jang Table brings together Korean culinary traditions and a contemporary international perspective. The concept reflects Chef Ray’s respect for traditional flavours while exploring modern techniques, refined presentation, fermentation, and wood-fire cooking to create a dining experience that feels rooted, expressive, and distinctly personal.

Experience the first taste of Jang Table through an intimate unique tasting menu at Tangelo Bali, surrounded by the quiet and calming atmosphere of Cicada Resort Bali Ubud. The evening celebrates the meeting of heritage, craftsmanship, and creative exploration through food. The experience is available at IDR 1,600,000++ per person, with a special 15% privilege reserved for the first five guests to book their seats.
