On Friday, 12 June 2026, Batique Bar presents a special collaboration with KAWI Ubud, as part of the Indonesia’s Finest Bar Series, under the theme “Sip, Share, Discover.” 

For one night only, two distinctive voices in Indonesia’s cocktail scene come together behind the bar. Bagus Aribowo of KAWI Ubud joins forces with Sapta of Batique Bar, creating a dialogue of flavors shaped by heritage, technique, and contemporary creativity. Recently recognised as one of Indonesia’s leading cocktail destinations, KAWI Ubud continues to redefine the island’s cocktail scene. Its philosophy is rooted in storytelling, each creation a reflection of Indonesia’s cultural richness, interpreted through a  thoughtful and modern lens. 

At the heart of the evening is Bagus Aribowo, a culinary-driven bartender whose work bridges Indonesian tradition with the meditative precision of Japanese bartending. His approach is both introspective and expressive, transforming local ingredients into refined compositions that speak of memory, place, and balance. Through his signature KAWI cocktails, guests are invited to explore bold yet harmonious flavors, crafted with intention and depth. 

Alongside him, Sapta, the creative force behind Batique Bar, brings his own narrative to the experience. A Top 8 Finalist of World Class Diageo Indonesia, Sapta is known for his ability to translate Indonesia’s diverse ingredients and traditions into contemporary cocktail artistry.
