This July, Amerta at Anantara Ubud Bali Resort invites guests on a journey through Italy's diverse culinary landscapes with A Curated Four Hands Culinary Series, an exclusive collection of dining experiences taking place every Friday throughout the month.


Set amidst the tranquil highlands of Payangan, the series brings together three Italian chefs whose shared heritage and distinct culinary perspectives create a celebration of authenticity, craftsmanship, and the joy of gathering around the table.

 


Leading the series is Executive Chef Gianni Stargiotti, whose culinary philosophy is rooted in the past, present and future, honouring tradition while embracing contemporary techniques and evolving tastes. With more than 35 years of international experience across Europe and Asia, Chef Gianni continues to shape distinctive dining experiences at Anantara Ubud, where flavour, place and meaningful connections come together.

 

 

On 3, 10 and 17 July 2026, Chef Gianni welcomes Chef Alessandro De Boni, an Italian chef and restaurateur whose culinary journey has taken him across Italy, Spain, Switzerland, England and Indonesia. Renowned for his dedication to artisan techniques and honest flavours, Chef Alessandro's cuisine reflects a deep respect for quality ingredients and the traditions of his homeland.


The series continues on 24 and 31 July 2026 with Chef Gianluca Visciglia, whose cuisine draws inspiration from Northern Italy, the rolling hills of Tuscany and his family roots in Southern Italy. With more than two decades of experience with international luxury hospitality brands and collaborations with Michelin-starred and celebrity chefs, Chef Gianluca brings a thoughtful expression of Italy's rich regional diversity to Amerta.

 

Together, the chefs will present specially curated menus showcasing authentic Italian flavours and seasonal ingredients through dishes such as Burrata di Melanzana, Raviolini alla Carbonara, Tagliatelle all'Agnello Ubriaco, and a choice of 15 Days Dry Aged AUS Grass Fed Rib Eye or Dentice, Mozzarella e Pomodoro, before concluding with Panna Cotta alla Nutella e Lamponi.

Inspired by Anantara's passion for meaningful journeys and genuine connections, each evening has been thoughtfully designed to transport diners through the regions of Italy while remaining deeply connected to the peaceful surroundings of Payangan.

 

Held every Friday in July at Amerta Restaurant from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm, the series invites guests to savour a specially curated six-course dinner, priced at IDR 900,000++ per person.
