On Friday, 22 August, the two will host Smoke & Spirit, a pairing dinner that blends Japanese-inspired dishes with cocktail craftsmanship in a way that feels bold, fun, and a little unexpected.

This exclusive event is built around a 5-course omakase menu created by YEN Social, with each dish matched to a signature drink by The Shady Pig. It’s not your usual food and wine pairing; this is where yakiniku meets mixology. Every element has been thoughtfully designed to bring out the depth, texture, and balance in each course.

Expect an evolving menu that moves from delicate to rich: starting with light bites like Beef Tataki Salad and Scallop with Shiso Oil, followed by deeper flavors in Gyutan with Leek, Kimchi Fried Rice, and the show-stopping Full Blood Shirokin Striploin. Dessert closes with a bright Yuzu Tiramisu Dome, bringing a clean finish to the evening. Alongside, The Shady Pig will serve five unique cocktails each one crafted to reflect the mood, flavor, and character of the food it complements.

But it’s more than just what’s on the table. The experience includes introductions from the chef and bartender, moments of interaction at each course, and a space that feels relaxed but refined. Think soft lighting, warm hospitality, and a setting designed to invite curiosity and conversation. YEN Social will handle the flame; The Shady Pig will bring the mystery.
