Chef Arya succeeds Executive Chef, Bina Surawa, whose dedication and contribution to BSCC’s culinary operations have been an integral part of the venue’s development. As BSCC welcomes Chef Arya into his new role, the appointment reflects the company’s continued commitment to elevating its culinary offerings, strengthening its gastronomic identity, and delivering memorable dining experiences for every event and occasion.
A Culinary Professional with Extensive Hospitality Experience
With a distinguished career spanning leading hospitality establishments in Indonesia, Chef Arya brings a wealth of culinary knowledge, creativity, and operational experience to BSCC.
Prior to joining Bali Sunset Road Convention Center, Chef Arya built his professional career with internationally recognized hospitality brands and renowned properties, including The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, The Hermitage, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Jakarta, Novotel Benoa Bali, and Fairfield by Marriott Bali, Ngurah Rai.
His diverse experience across luxury hotels, lifestyle hospitality, and international hotel brands has given him a strong understanding of contemporary culinary trends, quality standards, kitchen operations, and the evolving expectations of today’s guests and event organizers.
A graduate of Politeknik Pariwisata NHI Bandung, where he majored in Culinary Arts, Chef Arya combines a strong formal culinary foundation with years of practical experience in professional kitchens.
Taking BSCC’s Culinary Experience to the Next Level
As Executive Chef, Chef Arya will lead BSCC’s culinary team in developing a refreshed and more distinctive culinary direction for the convention center.
His vision is to create food experiences that go beyond simply complementing an event—making cuisine an integral part of the overall guest experience. From corporate conferences and meetings to weddings, social celebrations, exhibitions, and large-scale events, Chef Arya will focus on bringing greater creativity, consistency, presentation, and quality to BSCC’s lifestyle culinary offerings.
With Bali providing an extraordinary source of inspiration, his approach will also embrace the island’s rich culinary heritage while incorporating contemporary techniques and international influences
