Fifteen years ago, something vibrant took root on the golden sands of Seminyak—and on July 19, 2025, that spirit was celebrated in full color and gratitude.
La Plancha, Bali’s original chiringuito-style beach bar, toasted its 15th anniversary with a heartfelt homage to the island that inspired its story. First opened in 2010 by a father inspired by sunny days with his children on Jalan Mesari Beach, La Plancha quickly became more than just a beach bar—it became a symbol of warmth, creativity, and community.
A Morning of Meaning: Giving Back to Bali
The day began with intention and heart. Friends, locals, and La Plancha’s extended family gathered for a morning beach clean-up—an act of appreciation for the shoreline that has hosted countless moments of joy over the past decade and a half.
An Evening Steeped in Culture
As the sun dipped low, the sands of Seminyak transformed into a stage for Bali’s living traditions. Guests were treated to the elegant beauty of Sekar Jagad and Joged dances, followed by a spellbinding fire performance beneath the stars. Curated alongside local artists, the evening honored the richness of Balinese culture and the soulful energy that has always defined La Plancha.
Sunsets, Stories & Sea Breezes
From the first toast to the last song, the atmosphere flowed effortlessly—from nostalgic music and sunset silhouettes to signature cocktails and plates made to share. This was not just a party—it was a shared memory in motion, written with barefoot steps in the sand.
Still Glowing, Still Grateful
