InterContinental Bali Resort proudly presents “Eternal Bloom,” a unique Christmas tree installation created in collaboration with iconic fashion designer Paul Ropp. As the centerpiece of the resort’s Le Jardin de Jimbaran Festive Season, this shimmering artwork blends nature, culture and creativity, beautifully capturing the vibrant spirit of Bali.
Inspired by the resort’s tropical gardens and the natural beauty of Jimbaran Bay, this year’s festive theme highlights colour, craftsmanship and the warmth of the holiday season. The partnership with Paul Ropp, renowned for his bold colours, artisanal techniques, and free-spirited design, brings a distinctive artistic flair to the celebrations.
ETERNAL BLOOM: A TREE THAT TELLS A STORY
Suspended gracefully in the Grand Lobby with an elevated glow, “Eternal Bloom” reimagines the traditional Christmas tree through sustainability and artistic reinvention. Crafted entirely from leftover fabrics and textile offcuts from the Paul Ropp atelier, the installation transforms unused materials into vibrant, handcrafted blooms. Each bloom symbolises renewal, creativity, and transformation, reflecting the brand’s belief that nothing is wasted and everything can be reborn.
Its distinctive five-ring structure carries deep cultural meaning in both Indonesian and Balinese tradition. The number five symbolizes harmony, balance, and completeness, found in national philosophy, daily offerings, natural elements, and sacred directions. Through this thoughtful symbolism, “Eternal Bloom” blends festive joy with cultural depth.

MARKING THE START OF A FESTIVE JOURNEY
The unveiling of “Eternal Bloom” marks the beginning of the resort’s Le Jardin festive season, featuring curated holiday celebrations, seasonal culinary journeys, and family-friendly activities throughout December. Guests are invited to enjoy a festive atmosphere inspired by nature, enriched by culture, and elevated through art.
This year-end holiday season, the resort also presents a full calendar of celebrations, from pre-festive moments in November to Christmas and New Year. The highlight is the New Year’s Eve Countdown Gala, held at the Imperial Grand Ballroom, themed “A Night of Le Jardin.” Guests will be immersed in a magical jungle-inspired setting featuring The Joll, a magician performance, immersive dances, and more. The evening will be complemented by lavish festive delights, showcasing international favourites and local Indonesian specialties, culminating in a spectacular countdown to welcome 2026.
