Throughout 2025, the “1% for Smiles & Trees Program” continued its journey of care, compassion, and responsibility, creating meaningful social and environmental impact across seven community spots in Gianyar Regency. These locations represent our combined efforts to support more than 500 children and individuals with disabilities and special conditions, while also advancing environmental sustainability through tree planting initiatives.
Supporting Communities with Purpose
During the year, our team regularly returned to partner foundations, which are Yayasan Permata Hati, Sjaki Tari Us Foundation, The Legong, and Yayasan Bhakti Senang Hati, not simply to visit, but to listen, support, and grow together. These visits focused on providing direct assistance to children and individuals with disabilities and special conditions, sharing moments of joy, and witnessing the progress achieved through our ongoing programs.
Through consistent engagement, the program strengthened relationships with local foundations and reaffirmed our belief that meaningful social impact is built through empathy, continuity, and long-term commitment, rather than one-time gestures.
Commitment to Environmental Sustainability
In parallel with our social initiatives, the program extended its impact to the environment. In collaboration with Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Gianyar, we planted more than 200 trees throughout 2025 at selected locations, including Pura Dalem Desa Adat Abianseka, Desa Temesi, Desa Sumita, and Desa Lodtunduh, Ubud.
These tree planting activities were carried out in the same spirit of community care, contributing to greener surroundings while supporting environmental awareness within local communities. Each tree planted symbolizes hope, rooted today to provide shade and cleaner air for our future generations.
Alongside our tree planting initiatives, we also carried out eco-enzyme pouring activities in the river of Desa Temesi. This initiative aims to support the sustainability of water quality and protect the surrounding ecosystem. By improving river health naturally, the program contributes to cleaner waterways, healthier environments, and increased awareness of responsible environmental practices within the local community.
