Adriana Cocina & Bar successfully brought together two Latin American culinary talents for Latin Duet, a two-night dining experience that celebrated the rich traditions, bold flavors and contemporary techniques of Latin cuisine. Held on 19 and 20 June 2026, the event was led by Chef Gerardo Milan, Head Chef of Adriana Cocina & Bar at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali, with a special appearance by Chef Matias Mardones, Executive Chef of COPA at 25hours Hotel Jakarta. Together, they presented an exclusive eight-course dining experience inspired by the diverse culinary heritage of Latin America. The first evening was dedicated exclusively to ALL – Accor Live Limitless members, while the second evening welcomed the public, invited guests and media representatives, creating a lively atmosphere that brought together food enthusiasts, hospitality partners and members of Bali's culinary community.

Inspired by the theme "When Fire Meets Flavor," the event highlighted the role of fire as an essential element in many Latin American cooking traditions. Throughout the evening, guests were invited to witness selected dishes being prepared at live cooking stations, offering a closer look at the techniques behind each creation. One of the highlights of the event was the direct interaction between the chefs and guests, as Chef Gerardo and Chef Matias personally presented and served selected courses while sharing the inspiration, ingredients and stories behind each dish. This interactive approach transformed the dinner into a more personal culinary journey while allowing guests to gain a deeper appreciation of the menu.

The eight-course menu reflected the distinct culinary identities of both chefs, featuring dishes such as grilled octopus, ceviche, slow-cooked brisket tacos, barramundi with Veracruz salsa and dry-aged sirloin. Each course explored different flavors and techniques from across the region, while carefully selected wines from Argentina and Chile complemented the dining experience. The evening concluded with classic Latin desserts, including tres leches cake and churros, providing a fitting finale to the culinary journey.

Beyond the dining table, the experience was enriched by a live cigar-rolling demonstration by an experienced torcedor, a highly skilled artisan who handcrafts premium cigars by expertly rolling and shaping tobacco leaves. The evening was further elevated by soulful Latin-inspired entertainment, featuring acoustic and live percussion performances by Dimas & Latinesia Band, complemented by energetic sets from DJ Twice, provided the soundtrack to the evening, while performers dressed in traditional sombreros added a festive cultural touch. Supported by Santa Julia, Viña El Rosal, PT Tembakau Internasional and Wismilak, the event demonstrated how food can connect people through shared experiences. As conversations continued long after the final course was served, Latin Duet: When Fire Meets Flavor became more than a chef collaboration—it became a celebration of culture, hospitality and human connection, bringing together chefs, guests and communities around a shared appreciation for memorable dining experiences.
