Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo by IHG Marks Earth Hour 2026

Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo proudly joined the global Earth Hour 2026 movement on 28 March 2026, bringing together guests, colleagues, media, and influencers for a meaningful candle lighting ceremony. Set in a warm and reflective atmosphere, the initiative invited the hotel community to pause, connect, and take collective action for the planet. The evening continued at Uluwae Lobby Bar, where guests enjoyed complimentary traditional snacks and beverages, fostering a sense of shared purpose and crafted connection. In support of the global movement, guests were also encouraged to switch off their room lights from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM WITA.

At Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo, sustainability is thoughtfully embedded into everyday operations. The hotel has implemented an integrated waste management system, where processed waste is repurposed to nourish the surrounding landscape. In line with reducing environmental impact, plastic packaging has been minimized and replaced with more sustainable alternatives such as paper bags and glass bottles for mineral water. Reinforcing its commitment beyond the hotel grounds, the team also took part in a tree planting and wildlife conservation initiative in collaboration with Burung Indonesia in Golo Damu Village, Mbeliling District, West Manggarai Regency, on 14 March 2026.
