Columbia Sportswear has officially opened its first street-level store in Indonesia, marking its second store in Bali. The launch represents a strategic move by the brand to bring its retail experience closer to Indonesia’s active lifestyle community, expanding beyond the conventional mall format.

Columbia Officially Opens First Street-level Store in Indonesia

Designed with a street-level concept, the new store offers easier public access and a more open, casual atmosphere. The setting is tailored to meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts, from hiking and fishing to trail running and other nature-based activities. The concept aligns with Columbia’s long-standing mission to encourage people to explore the outdoors confidently with reliable, high-performance gear.

The opening further strengthens Bali’s position as a key market for Columbia, given the island’s strong connection to outdoor activities and active living. With this addition, Columbia now operates a total of 15 stores across Indonesia, located in major cities nationwide.

More than just a retail space, the street-level store is envisioned as a Community Hub — a gathering place for outdoor communities to host activities such as community hikes, fun trail runs, workout sessions, product wear tests, and social or environmental initiatives.

Through this new store, Columbia reaffirms its commitment to supporting Indonesia’s outdoor community by delivering proven, high-technology products while fostering deeper, more authentic connections with consumers through everyday brand experiences.
