The Island of the Gods is set to become the center of the fashion world with the return of the Bali International Fashion Festival (BIFF) Vol. 2 – 2025, a prestigious celebration blending the elegance of global fashion, the richness of local culture, and boundless creativity. The event took place on 24 August 2025 at Pullman Bali Legian Beach, featuring a stellar lineup of renowned designers, international models, and creative industry leaders from around the world.
Carrying the theme “Harmony in Diversity,” BIFF Vol. 2 – 2025 emphasizes that differences between individuals or groups are not obstacles but strengths—when accompanied by mutual respect and collaboration. This vision, initiated by BIFF Founder Ibu Lenny Hartono, showcases how cultural, religious, and ethnic diversity can coexist harmoniously. The festival translates this belief into a fashion show featuring designers and models from multiple cultural backgrounds and countries.
According to Lenny Hartono, a prominent Balinese designer and Founder of the Bali International Fashion Festival, this year’s event will stand out from the previous edition with greater involvement of international designers alongside seasoned local talents with globally recognized brands. BIFF 2025 also opens inclusive spaces and creative market opportunities, engaging both emerging young talents and senior figures in the fashion industry, from designers to models. It is important to note that “Harmony in Diversity” does not mean eliminating differences but instead celebrating and embracing them to create a richer, stronger society.
This spirit is reflected through the creativity of designers who present cultural treasures not only from Indonesia but also from participating countries around the globe. As the official host, Pullman Bali Legian Beach, part of the Accor Hotels network, will serve as the stage where global creativity meets the charm of Bali. Strategically located between Kuta and Legian beaches, the beachfront resort offers world-class facilities that align with the prestige of BIFF. Ravi Khubchandani, General Manager of Pullman Bali Legian Beach, stated:
“Hosting BIFF is not just about providing a venue; it is about embracing creativity, diversity, and cultural exchange. We want to create inspiring moments that bring people together from across the world.”
This collaboration also reflects Pullman’s vision of blending lifestyle, art, and culture while strengthening Bali’s position as an international destination for fashion, culture, and the arts. As one of Bali’s largest fashion festivals, BIFF 2025 will feature spectacular runway shows from designers across Indonesia and around the world, fostering opportunities for international collaboration. Bali, long admired for its natural beauty and cultural richness, continues to strengthen its role as a global creative destination, with BIFF serving as a bridge between the international fashion industry and local wisdom.
