COMO Shambhala Estate hosts a purpose-driven wellness morning dedicated to movement, mindfulness and positive social impact.

COMO Shambhala Estate is proud to introduce Move with Purpose, a wellness-led initiative under the COMO Challenge Grant — COMO’s corporate CSR programme dedicated to creating meaningful impact through community engagement and purposeful experiences.

Taking place on Saturday, May 23rd 2026, at COMO Shambhala Estate, the event brings together movement, mindfulness and philanthropy through a morning Mat Pilates session followed by a community bazaar supporting children’s literacy initiatives across Indonesia.

Held in collaboration with Billy Pilates, the session will be led by Billy Pilates expert Maliana Xin alongside COMO Shambhala Estate’s resident Pilates and yoga teacher, Mins Teo. Set within the Estate’s open-air wellness pavilion overlooking lush tropical jungle, the experience invites participants to reconnect with their bodies while immersed in the calming sounds and energy of nature.

Nestled in the heart of Bali’s cultural highlands near Ubud, COMO Shambhala Estate has long been  recognised as a sanctuary for holistic wellbeing. Surrounded by dense rainforest, flowing rivers and sacred springs, the Estate offers an environment that naturally encourages restoration and mindfulness. The tranquil jungle atmosphere, fresh mountain air and expansive wellness spaces make it an ideal setting for a movement-focused gathering such as Move with Purpose — where physical  wellbeing and meaningful connection come together in harmony with nature.

“COMO Shambhala Estate has always been a place where wellness and meaningful human connection come together naturally,” said Gede Suteja, Cluster General Manager of COMO Shambhala Estate and COMO Uma Ubud. “Through Move with Purpose, we hope to create an experience that not only inspires personal wellbeing, but also contributes to something greater by supporting children’s literacy programmes across Indonesia. It is a reflection of COMO’s ongoing commitment to purposeful hospitality and positive community impact.”

Following the Pilates session, guests are invited to explore a curated community bazaar featuring local brands and partners supporting literacy programmes that help provide Indonesian children with access to books and educational resources, encouraging a lifelong love of reading.

The event will take place from 6.30am to 11.00am.

Participation is priced at:

• IDR 350,000 for the Mat Pilates class only
• IDR 500,000 including breakfast at glow Restaurant

Prices are inclusive of 21 per cent government tax and service charge.
