Welcoming the month of September, Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort invites guests to experience Latin Hermanos, a joyful two-day culinary celebration where the spirited flavors of Latin America blend beautifully with the vibrant essence of Indonesia. Set along the iconic Kuta beachfront, the weekend promises festive street food, bold tropical cocktails, and the pulse of live Afro-Latin rhythms. From sunset revelries to leisurely brunches, it’s a flavorful journey designed to delight the senses and celebrate cultural connection. At its heart, Latin Hermanos is about brotherhood through flavors. 

 

Three chefs, each carrying the soul of their homeland are coming together in Bali to create something never tasted before.

 

-From Peru, Chef Juan Carlos Eyzaguirre brings the bright citrus kick of ceviche, the ancient grains of the Andes, and the colorful street food spirit of Lima.

-From Mexico, Chef Silverio Martínez delivers the fiery dance of chilies, corn traditions, and soulful dishes that tell stories of both heritage and fiesta.

-From Indonesia, Chef Rangga Safari grounds the experience with local wisdom, aromatic spices, and Bali’s timeless connection to the land and sea.

 

Three cultures, three histories, three personal journeys merging into one kitchen. That is where the name Hermanos (brothers) comes alive.

 

Saturday, 20 September | Sabores de la Calle at &More by Sheraton | 5PM – 9PM

The journey begins on Saturday evening as &More by Sheraton transforms into a lively Latin Street market by the sea. Picture clay-cup margaritas in hand, spices dancing in the air, and the sounds of live Latin bands echoing into the Kuta sunset. Guests will wander through a maze of culinary stalls curated by a power trio of chefs: Chef Silverio Martinez, the bold Mexican behind Jakarta's Latin American restaurant, CasaLena. Chef Juan Carlos Jara Eyzaguirre, the Peruvian maestro of Nikkei cuisine at Padma Legian and Chef Rangga Safari, Executive Chef of Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort, bringing over 20 years of international culinary experience to the forefront of Bali’s dining scene. The menu reads like a cross-continental love letter ceviche meets sambal, babi guling gets a Latin twist, arepas come spiked with tropical flair, and smoky anticuchos hit the grill. Roving bartenders serve up Tamarindo Margaritas, Frida’s Fizz, and Paloma Picantes, all under open skies. As night falls, dancers take the floor and turn dinner into a fiesta.

 

Sunday, 21 September | Fusión Festiva Brunch at Daily Social | 12PM – 3:30PM

Following the lively energy of Saturday, Sunday brings a soulful, sunlit celebration with Fusión Festiva, a vibrant brunch experience held at Daily Social. Here, cultures blend seamlessly and flavors take center stage. Guests can savor inspired creations like tamarillo-glazed tamales, Peruvian-style sambal ceviche, and lobster anticucho with bumbu kuning, all paired with frozen margarita stations, a Frida Kahlo wine bar, and Afro-Latin DJ grooves dancing through painted sangria crates. Every element from the food to the rhythm, the ambiance to the artistry comes together to awaken the senses and elevate the moment. More than a meal, Fusión Festiva is a joyful gathering that celebrates flavor, music, and meaningful connection.
