The celebration centers around the ceremonial tossing of the Yee Shang Salad, where families gather around the table to lift their chopsticks high while making wishes for health, wealth, and happiness in the coming year. This colorful creation features dumpling wrappers, taro, jicama, daikon, carrot, pomelo, cilantro, pickled ginger, and smoked salmon, all tossed together with hoisin apricot dressing as families celebrate together.
Palms Restaurant has crafted three distinct dining options to accommodate families of all sizes. Solo diners can join the festivities at IDR 199,000 nett. The Prosperity Feast for Three, priced at IDR 550,000 nett with a minimum of three guests, features Char Siu Mantou, choice of soup, sweet and sour chicken or Gong Bao chicken, roasted duck and chicken combination, vegetables, rice or noodles, and mango pudding with fresh fruit. For larger family gatherings, the Grand Fortune Banquet for Five serves a minimum of five guests at IDR 699,000 nett. This premium package expands the menu to include roasted duck spring rolls, handmade wonton soup, tender rib eye with broccoli, fresh seafood options including barramundi, crispy squid, or prawns in Singapore sauce, and an enhanced barbecue combination featuring roasted duck, chicken, and crispy pork belly. Desserts include mango pudding, traditional Guilinggao herbal jelly, and fresh fruit platter.
