Running from 24 December to 31 December 2026, our curated festive program blends luxury, frictionless experience, refined gastronomy, and vibrant beachfront celebrations to foster genuine connection and cherished moments.
Perched along the southern cliffs of Uluwatu high above the ocean, The Ungasan offers a sanctuary where understated elegance meets warm, intuitive hospitality. General Manager, Simon A. Dornan, and our dedicated team captures the essence of this year’s festivities, thoughtfully prepared to invite guests to celebrate with their loved ones against Bali’s iconic clifftop backdrop.
For guests seeking privacy and intimate gatherings, the resort offers exclusive In-Villa BBQ Feast on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Served in the seclusion of private villas and suites, this multi-course culinary experience features slow-roasted lamb shoulder, charcoal Portuguese chicken, and indulgent classic desserts.
Culinary enthusiasts will also find inspiration at WAATU, our signature clifftop restaurant celebrating Japanese-inspired wood-fired flavours. On Christmas Eve, WAATU presents WAATU Kurismasu, an elevated dining showcasing coastal delicacies. On New Year’s Eve, WAATU host Ōmisoka, a luxurious multi-course dinner paired with low-intervention natural wines and handcrafted cocktails. After a wholesome meal, guests are able to join the beachfront festivities at the renowned Sundays Beach Club.
At the base of the cliff, Sundays Beach Club brings sun-drenched energy and oceanfront magic to the holiday season. From 24 December to 26 December, guests can enjoy open-flame Asado specialties served right by the sand, featuring high quality meat, seafood, and accompanied by freshly baked yoghurt flatbreads. To ring in the new year, Sundays presents Kaleidoscope: A Celebration of Colours, a barefoot New Year’s Eve beach party complete with live music, guest DJs, fire dancers, and midnight fireworks over the ocean.
