Libros adds a new layer to Jakarta’s cocktail landscape—one where atmosphere, craftsmanship, and intention come together seamlessly

Libros officially opens as a refined cocktail bar designed for those who appreciate meaningful conversations, elevated cocktails, and thoughtfully curated experiences. Intimate yet welcoming, the venue invites guests to slow down and settle into evenings that unfold at their own pace. Located on the third floor of CasaLeña, Libros adds a new layer to Jakarta’s cocktail landscape—one where atmosphere, craftsmanship, and intention come together seamlessly.

Libros Sets a New Benchmark for Jakarta’s Cocktail Bar Scene

Conceived as a classical-style cocktail bar with a library-inspired concept, Libros draws inspiration from the quiet sophistication of old-world Latin American Prohibition-era bars, reimagined with modern sensibilities. The result is an elegant, timeless space that feels warm and personal, encouraging connection and unhurried enjoyment. Dark wood finishes, a marble bar counter, linen chairs, chandeliers, and soft ambient lighting set the tone, while vintage paintings, framed mirrors, vinyl records, globes, candlelight, books, and a premium bottle display create a layered, storied atmosphere that feels both intimate and indulgent.

While ideal for relaxed evenings at the bar, Libros is also thoughtfully designed for intimate gatherings and private occasions. With a capacity of up to 60 guests across seated and standing arrangements, the space accommodates birthdays, brand events, meetings, private parties, and curated celebrations. Flexible seating options—including sofa and bar seating—allow each event to be tailored without compromising the bar’s refined and intimate character.

Complementing the space is a curated weekly music program that shapes the rhythm of each evening. Wednesdays highlight Afro, Reggaeton, and Latin sounds; Thursdays explore Tech House, Melodic Techno, Techno, and Progressive; Fridays are dedicated to R&B and Hip Hop; and Saturdays feature Top 40 selections paired with Karaoke Night. Libros opens from Wednesday to Saturday, 17.00 to 01.00, offering a seamless transition from after-work drinks to late-night moments and celebratory gatherings.

At the heart of Libros is its cocktail program, led by Bar Manager and Mixologist Ozy Ahmad, who brings a modern sensibility to timeless classics. “At Libros, we wanted to create a bar that feels intimate and unhurried, where guests can enjoy familiar cocktails with thoughtful twists and a sense of storytelling in every glass,” said Ozy. “It’s about respecting the classics while giving people space to slow down, connect, and truly enjoy the experience.”

The menu focuses on classic cocktails and contemporary reinterpretations, positioning Libros as a destination for discerning guests and cocktail enthusiasts alike. Among the eight signature creations, highlights include Spicy Mathilda and Coco and the Coconut, each offering distinctive twists on familiar profiles. The experience is further elevated by premium spirits and curated bites, designed to feel personal, considered, and intentionally paced.

Guests are welcome to bring their own DJ or choose a curated music selection by the Libros team, reflecting the venue’s guiding philosophy: Your night. Your rules. Our bar. With its understated elegance, literary-inspired ambiance, and emphasis on personalization, Libros establishes itself as a cocktail destination for those seeking quality, character, and a more intentional way to enjoy the night in Jakarta.
