ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan and Matalesoge Collaborate to Promote Equality in Hospitality
ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan, in collaboration with Matalesoge HospitABLElity Academy, hosted a seminar titled "Expanding the Awareness & Empathy in Autism Spectrum for an Inclusive Hospitality Industry." This event is part of The Art of Goodness initiative by ARTOTEL Group, an ongoing program since 2022 that supports social responsibility and inclusivity.
The seminar featured three notable speakers:
Tommy Hermanses, CEO of Matalesoge HospitABLElity Academy
Shopia Aradhu, Head of Inclusivity Program and parent of an artist with autism
Diella Gracia Martauli, Clinical Psychologist

They shared insights and personal experiences related to the autism spectrum, aiming to raise awareness and promote empathy within the hospitality sector.
The initiative focuses on building understanding and developing practical approaches for professionals to support and collaborate with individuals on the autism spectrum. By doing so, it encourages greater inclusivity and equal opportunities in the workforce—especially in hospitality—by recognizing and empowering the unique talents and abilities of individuals with autism.
As a tangible step, ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan has opened work opportunities in its Human Resources department for individuals with autism spectrum as daily workers. These individuals will receive dedicated supervision and support from department heads to ensure a productive and inclusive work environment.

Oki Wibowo, Director of Human Resources at ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan – Jakarta, expressed his support:
"We fully embrace this collaboration as part of our commitment to the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) framework. We hope this initiative creates meaningful impact, showing that individuals with special needs can thrive equally in the workplace and society."
"Through empowerment programs like those initiated by ARTOTEL Group, we believe good values can be shared across individuals, communities, and institutions—uniting us in a common humanitarian mission," added Tommy Hermanses, CEO of Matalesoge HospitABLElity Academy
