Bartiga: A Music Bar Shaped by Sound
Jakarta, Indonesia Bartiga is South Jakarta's new intimate music bar, located in the basement of The Darmawangsa Square. The venue is designed to emphasize high-quality acoustic sound, allowing every note to be clearly heard in an intimate setting. Its carefully crafted interior and bar-style seating for 30 guests (50 standing) create the perfect environment for focused listening, meaningful conversation, and connection.
Founded by three music enthusiasts and led by Music Director Reinhold Makasutji (known as Leno Rei), Bartiga places music at the center of the experience. Music programming is developed under his direction in collaboration with THEMAN Music Project and 2besequenced Music Consultant, ensuring a consistent, evolving, and culturally rooted musical narrative.

The bar regularly hosts vinyl sessions from Reinhold Makasutji’s personal archive of over 1,300 records, spanning jazz, hip-hop, funk, boogie, Latin, African rhythms, and disco—all amplified through the bar’s high-fidelity acoustic system to maximize the intimate listening experience
Complementing the music, Bartiga offers signature cocktails, mocktails, highballs, and premium spirits, providing a full beverage experience alongside the curated sound. Bartiga also collaborates with creators and retailers on projects aligned with music and sound culture, including curated audio experiences like Long Play. The venue is designed for immersive music experiences in an intimate setting, rather than large crowds or high-volume nightlife.

Bartiga welcomes a mature audience aged 25 and above—professionals and individuals looking for a comfortable space to unwind after work, connect with clients and friends, and enjoy good music. Designed as an escape from long and busy days, Bartiga offers a warm and relaxed atmosphere where guests can easily shift from work mode to downtime, making it a place to casually meet, have conversations, and enjoy music in a more personal setting.
In a city where nightlife often feels loud and crowded, Bartiga takes a different approach—focusing on comfort, good sound, and thoughtfully curated music. With its vinyl sessions and intimate setup, Bartiga hopes to feel less like a venue and more like a second home for those who simply enjoy music as part of their everyday life.

Bartiga is developed in collaboration with Affirmate, a cross-border investment and business development company connecting Indonesia and Japan. Through its involvement, Affirmate supports the project not only from a business and funding perspective, but also by bringing a vision to foster cross-cultural collaboration and strengthen the creative connection between Jakarta and Tokyo.
