Teater Abnon Jakarta celebrates its 17th anniversary with a special performance titled “17 Years of Teater Abnon Berkarya,” taking place on Sunday, 10 May 2026 at the Atrium of Kota Kasablanka Mall, Jakarta. This milestone event reflects on its journey since its establishment in 2009, reaffirming its role as a creative platform for Abang None Jakarta while continuing to preserve and reinterpret Betawi culture through contemporary performing arts.

Bringing together 25 Abang None from various generations, regions, and past productions, the performance showcases a collaborative and dynamic stage presentation. Audiences can expect a vibrant blend of theatrical dance, live music, and acting that traces the evolution of Teater Abnon’s works—from its first production, “Cinta Dasima,” to its upcoming 17th production, “Sangkala 9/10,” set to premiere in August 2026.

As part of Jakarta Marketing Week, the event highlights a long-standing collaboration that has contributed to the growth and visibility of both Teater Abnon and the Abang None Jakarta community. More than just a performance, it serves as a cross-generational reunion and a celebration of regeneration, creativity, and collaboration that have shaped the group over the years.
