This August, The Langham, Jakarta, welcomes Giulia Cuccurullo, a globally celebrated bartender and Head Bartender of Artesian Bar at The Langham, London, four-time winner of the World’s 50 Best Bars, for a weekend of mixology magic on 8–9 August 2025, at Artesian Bar Jakarta. A maestro of her craft, Giulia was recently ranked in the Top 4 of the International Bartender of the Year by Tales of the Cocktail Foundation. She will bring her signature blend of storytelling and sensory design to Jakarta, showcasing her groundbreaking cocktail menu.

Artesian Bar Jakarta is a rooftop haven known for its innovative craft cocktails, bold botanicals, and sweeping views of the city’s glittering skyline. For two nights only, Giulia will present her creations from the newly launched Ultimo menu, which has garnered international recognition for its fusion of thinking and artistic flair. Guests can expect a drink menu that is both adventurous and alluring—perfectly suited to the elegant vibe of Artesian Bar Jakarta.

More Than Cocktails — Multi-Sensory Narratives 

At Artesian, the cocktail menu has always been more than just a list of drinks, it serves as a narrative, a thoughtful exploration of time and resilience. From CEPS, a savoury twist on the classic Negroni, to KELP, a Martini reimagined with a subtle umami depth, her creations surprise and seduce the palate in equal measure. APPLE, a playful champagne cocktail, delights with effervescence and elegance, while CURRANT, her vibrant Paloma-style creation, offers a bold yet balanced finish. Each drink is centered on a single spotlight ingredient, preserved and reimagined through advanced techniques, reflecting Giulia’s dedication to innovation and environmental responsibility.

Born and raised in Naples, Italy, Giulia initially pursued architecture. Yet her love for creativity found a new medium behind the bar, where she channeled her design sensibility into the artistry of cocktails. With accolades including Global Winner of Patrón Perfectionist 2020, GQ Best Bartender Nominee, and Best Italian Bartender Abroad at the 2024 Bargiornale Awards, her arrival at Artesian Jakarta is both a celebration and a statement: a spotlight on the future of cocktail culture, expressed through timeless hospitality and craftsmanship.
