Ibu Sud: Nada Anak Nusantara – A Heartwarming Musical for the Whole Family
Step into a colorful world of imagination, friendship, and timeless children's songs in "Ibu Sud: Nada Anak Nusantara," a new musical presented by Galeri Indonesia Kaya in collaboration with Ngajagi Kreasi Nusantara.
Rather than telling the biography of Indonesia's legendary children's songwriter, the production follows the fictional journey of a lonely elementary school student who discovers the meaning of friendship, kindness, and courage through the beloved songs of Ibu Sud. Guided by familiar characters including Ria Enes and Susan, the story invites audiences on an emotional adventure filled with music, play, and imagination.
Featuring vibrant choreography, cheerful musical arrangements, and imaginative stage visuals, the production highlights values of empathy, togetherness, tolerance, and the joy of childhood, making it an enjoyable experience for children, parents, and audiences of all ages.
Produced by Rio Kamase and Vidi Newrockman, written and directed by Nusa Wicastya, the musical stars Sita Nursanti as Ibu Sud, Khanza Ameera Salsabilla as Nada, alongside Ria Enes, Susan, Firman Agung, Barry, and a talented young ensemble.
