Pullman Bandung Grand Central proudly announces the return of its annual Batik Day celebration, now with a more modern and artistic twist. The event, titled “Sip & Paint: Batik Edition”, will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in collaboration with What’s New Bandung Art Series and A4 Studio.

This year’s theme, “A Twist of The Dream”, invites participants to reinterpret tradition through an artistic lens — blending two worlds of creativity. More than a simple celebration, it’s an invitation to explore the harmony between the bold abstraction of Pablo Picasso and the philosophical beauty of Indonesian Batik, offering a unique creative experience that bridges global art with local heritage.

The art workshop will be led by A4 Studio, an award-winning art operator known for its focus on transmedia learning and storytelling through visual arts. With A4 Studio’s signature teaching method, the event welcomes both experienced artists and beginners, guiding them to create distinctive works that combine modern expression with batik’s timeless charm.

Enhancing this artistic journey is a Spanish-inspired dining experience — a nod to Picasso’s homeland — hosted at Mad Cow Wine & Grill’s semi-outdoor area. Guests will enjoy an array of authentic Spanish tapas, such as Trout Escabeche, Beef Ham Pinxtos, Albondigas, Tortillas de Patatas, Pincho Manchego and Merguez Skewer, Churros with Chocolate Sauce, Tartaletas de Crema Catalana, Polvoron, and Burnt Basque Cheesecake, accompanied by premium beverages including Vega Calida Monastrell 2022, Herederos del Marques de Riscal 2020 (White), White Cava Sangria, and Virgin Micasa Sangria.
