Pullman Bandung Grand Central officially welcomed the festive season with a heartwarming Christmas Tree Ceremony followed by its Christmas Food…

Chritsmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

If Christmas had a flavor, Pullman Bandung Grand Central served it generously. Last weekend, the hotel officially kicked off the festive season with the first lighting of its Christmas tree — a ceremonial moment that marked the beginning of Christmas celebrations — followed by its Christmas Food Carnival. As the tree lit up, the evening unfolded into a lively feast filled with classic roasted turkey, lavender and honey–glazed wagyu beef ham, and other festive highlights, accompanied by live music, cheerful appearances from Santa Claus, and a warm holiday atmosphere in the heart of Bandung.

Stepping into Sadrasa Kitchen, the experience felt thoughtfully curated from the very beginning. We were guided through the buffet by the chef himself, who walked us through each station while explaining how every dish was prepared with care — from the classic roasted turkey, marinated in seasoned brine for three days, to the slow-cooked meats that took hours to perfect. It was a small detail, but one that reflected Pullman’s commitment to delivering its best in every aspect. The dishes spoke for themselves — rich, comforting, indulgent — every “delicious” adjective you can think of applied here. The spread was impressively wide, featuring festive classics like Salmon En Croute, a dish that instantly felt celebratory and tasted just as good as it looked.

We started light, as one should, at the sushi bar — a complete and tempting lineup that was hard to resist. As plates slowly filled, a Christmas choir took over the room, their voices carrying familiar melodies that gently wrapped the evening in holiday warmth. “It’s the most wonderful time of the year,” they sang, and for a moment, it truly felt like it. The Christmas Food Carnival lived up to its name — lively, abundant, and full of joyful energy. And then came dessert. Because no festive feast is complete without it. Among the many sweet treats, the Mini Buche de Noel stole our hearts, though the macarons came in a close second — light, delicate, and impossible to stop at just one.

Christmas celebrations at Pullman Bandung Grand Central don’t stop at the tree lighting. On 24 December 2025, Sadrasa Kitchen hosts the Christmas Food Carnival dinner from 6.30 PM to 10.30 PM, offering a festive buffet priced at IDR 722,000 nett per person, with a special rate of IDR 361,000 nett for children aged 6–12 years. And if you’re not making it on Christmas Eve, there are still plenty of ways to soak up the festive mood throughout December. The hotel rolls out its Festive Brunch on 14, 21, and 28 December 2025 (11.30 AM – 3 PM), alongside Festive Tapas served daily from 8 to 31 December 2025, available from 12 noon to 10 PM. Whether you’re planning a proper Christmas dinner with family or just dropping by for something more relaxed, it’s a festive lineup that makes the season feel a little more special.
