The Papandayan Jazz Fest 2026 Announces First Line-Up

Bandung, August 24, 2026 — The Papandayan Jazz Fest (TPJF) has officially announced its 2026 edition, set to take place on October 3–4, 2026, at The Papandayan Hotel Bandung. Entering its 11th year, the festival embraces the theme "Sound to the Soul," a philosophy that invites music lovers to experience jazz not merely as entertainment, but as a powerful medium capable of touching emotions, building connections, and creating lasting memories.

Since its inception in 2013, TP Jazz has evolved into one of Indonesia’s most consistent jazz ecosystems through a series of year-round programs, including TP Jazz on The Weekend, TP Jazz Universe, TP International Online Jazz Competition (TPJC), TP Podcast Resonance, and The Papandayan Jazz Fest as its flagship annual celebration. This long-standing commitment has positioned TP Jazz not only as a festival organizer, but also as a platform dedicated to fostering musicians, communities, and a deeper appreciation of jazz music in Indonesia.

Under the theme "Sound to the Soul," TPJF 2026 will offer a rich festival experience featuring six thematic stages, more than 100 performers, over 30 culinary and lifestyle booths, and a variety of collaborative programs designed to create an intimate and memorable musical journey throughout the two-day event.

As the festival enters its 11th edition, TPJF reaffirms its commitment to presenting a stronger jazz-focused program than in previous years. From traditional jazz, fusion, and contemporary jazz to innovative collaborative projects, TPJF 2026 aims to demonstrate that jazz continues to evolve, remain relevant, and connect with broader audiences without losing its essence.

According to Bobby Renaldi, Founder of TP Jazz, the essence of a festival is defined not only by the artists performing on stage, but also by the experience it creates for every visitor.

To date, TPJF 2026 has announced an exciting lineup of musicians and collaborative projects set to perform across the two festival days. On the first day, audiences can enjoy performances by Dadaks, SND, Arumtala, SFG, SimakDialog, Barry Likumahuwa feat. Ambon Jazz Rock, Batavia Collective, Lalahuta feat. Rieka Roslan, Smoove, Diskoria feat. Andien, Ruth Sahanaya, and The Gentlemen’s Club featuring Adikara, Teza Sumendra, and Bilal Indrajaya in a special project titled “Tribute to Koes Plus.”

On the second day, the festival will present 5 Petani, Barry Likumahuwa feat. TPJC Winner Players, Andre Dinuth Group feat. Matthew Sayersz, T-Five x Melly Mono, Freedom Jazz Society featuring Winky Wiryawan, Kenny Gabriel, Jevin Julian, Greybox, and Rinni Wulandari, as well as a special project by Dwiki Dharmawan feat. Dira Sugandi, Dirly Dave & Bandung Jazz Orchestra under the theme “A Night of Frank Sinatra.” The festival will also welcome Mahalini as one of its featured performers on the second day. These artists represent the first phase of the TPJF 2026 lineup announcement, with additional national and international acts to be revealed in the coming weeks.

This year, TPJF will feature six performance areas, each offering a unique atmosphere and experience. TP Stage(Ground Floor) and Pasar Jazz, located in The Papandayan’s parking area, will serve as creative and community hubs throughout the festival. Designed as a jazz-themed marketplace, Pasar Jazz will showcase a diverse selection of culinary offerings, lifestyle products, and hobby-related activities that visitors can enjoy between performances.

Festivalgoers can also experience performances at Mojang Jajaka Stage in the Tropical Garden (Ground Floor), BRI Stage at HuruBatu Grill Garden (Lobby Floor), Ron88 Stage in Cimanuk Ballroom (Ground Floor), and Kota Baru Parahyangan Stage, the festival’s main stage, located at Suagi Grand Ballroom (Lobby Floor). Together, these six stages will create a diverse, intimate, and exploratory festival environment.

TPJF 2026 offers three ticket categories: Silver Pass, which provides daily access to six festival stages; Gold Pass, which includes access to all stages including the performances at Suagi Grand Ballroom; and Platinum Pass, which grants full two-day access to all festival areas and stages.

During the Pay-Day Sale period, Silver Tickets are available for IDR 150,000 per day (regular price: IDR 250,000), while Gold Tickets are offered at IDR 325,000 per day (regular price: IDR 400,000).
