Gaia Music Festival (GMF) officially announced its fifth edition during a press conference held at Habitate Jakarta on Tuesday (July 7). The festival will take place on August 14–15, 2026, at The Gaia Hotel Bandung.
Carrying the theme "Music For All," this year's festival celebrates music as a universal language that brings people together across generations, backgrounds, and musical tastes. Set against the lush hillside surroundings of The Gaia Hotel Bandung, the festival promises an intimate and inspiring experience for everyone.
According to Rony Triawan, Chairman of Gaia Music Festival, the theme reflects the belief that music has the power to unite people, especially during challenging times.
"Through Music For All, we want to create a meaningful space where musicians, communities, and audiences from different generations can come together and enjoy music," he said.

Organized by The Gaia Hotel Bandung, Gaia Music Festival has grown beyond a music event into a celebration of creativity, community, and togetherness. Over the past four editions, it has become a platform connecting musicians, artists, families, and music lovers in a welcoming atmosphere.
This year's lineup features a mix of established and emerging artists, including Gigi Jazz Project, RAN, Teddy Adhitya, Adikara, Littlefingers, Keubitbit, Love Is, and a special collaboration between Karimata & Tiara Effendy. Festivalgoers can also enjoy performances by Bass G Feat Song Brothers across both days at the Endless Stage, an alternative stage offering a more relaxed and interactive setting.

Several artists shared their excitement during the press conference. Karimata, joined by Tiara Effendy, will present a signature collaborative performance, while Gigi Jazz Project promises fresh jazz arrangements of GIGI's classic songs, including selections from their latest live album. Love Is will perform tracks from its newest album, while Teddy Adhitya expressed his enthusiasm for returning to Bandung and performing in the festival's unique atmosphere.
Bagas Indyatmono, Founder of Jazz Gunung Indonesia, explained that the festival's curation is designed to balance legendary musicians with rising talents, creating a high-quality musical experience supported by carefully designed staging, sound, and lighting.
As part of the Road to Gaia Music Festival 2026, the organizers will also host GMF Takeover at Beebop Bar & Kitchen in Jakarta. The program features intimate jam sessions and collaborations between GMF artists, Bass G, and local jazz communities, bringing the festival experience closer to audiences ahead of the main event.
With a target of welcoming more than 1,000 visitors over two days, Gaia Music Festival 2026 aims to continue supporting Bandung's music, tourism, and creative industries.

Aven Putranto, Executive Assistant Manager of The Gaia Hotel Bandung, said the festival reflects the hotel's commitment to creating meaningful hospitality experiences.
"Gaia Music Festival has become part of our identity. It offers guests not only great performances, but also a comfortable, intimate, and family-friendly atmosphere while strengthening its position as The Gaia Hotel Bandung's signature annual event," he said.
Beyond entertainment, Gaia Music Festival remains committed to inclusivity and sustainability. The festival grounds will be family-friendly and accessible for visitors with disabilities, while environmentally conscious initiatives will be implemented throughout the event.
More than just a music festival, Gaia Music Festival 2026 invites audiences to enjoy two days of music, inspiration, and meaningful connections. Ticket information, performance schedules, and additional programs will be announced through the festival's official channels soon.
