Marriott Indonesia Bandung Cluster Brings Joy Through “Shoes to School” Initiative

As part of Marriott International’s commitment to creating a positive and sustainable impact in the communities where it operates, the Marriott Indonesia Bandung Cluster (Sheraton Bandung, Courtyard by Marriott Bandung Dago, Four Points by Sheraton Bandung, and Moxy Bandung) proudly hosted the “Shoes to School” CSR event in Ciburial Village, Bandung. 

Held at Gedung Serbaguna Desa Ciburial, this meaningful initiative distributed 246 pairs of school shoes to students from 12 schools in Ciburial. The donation aimed to support children’s education journey by fulfilling a basic yet vital need — a proper pair of shoes to walk to school. 

The schools supported included SDN Kordon 01, 02, 03, SDN Pakar 1, 2, 3, SDN Ciburial, SD Babus Salam, SDN Pasanggaraahan, SMP Plus Babus Salam, SMP PGRI, and SMA Plus Babus Salam. 

This event is part of Marriott’s Serve 360 program, which empowers associates to “do good in every direction” and make a lasting impact through acts of service, sustainability, and community upliftment.
