Bringing this philosophy to life, The Gaia Hotel Bandung collaborates with two distinctive names in fashion, ANS.EIN and Auguste Soesastro of KRATON, whose approaches to design reflect the harmony between creativity, craftsmanship, and everyday functionality.
For ANS.EIN, design is an expression of wearable art that brings together contemporary style and practicality.
Its versatile creations demonstrate how thoughtful design can be both expressive and functional, effortlessly becoming part of everyday life. This approach resonates with The Gaia Hotel Bandung's commitment to creating experiences where beauty and purpose coexist naturally.
Similarly, Auguste Soesastro brings a perspective rooted in Indonesian artistry and refined craftsmanship. Through his contemporary interpretation of cultural heritage, he demonstrates how traditional elements can be thoughtfully reimagined to remain relevant to modern lifestyles. The collaboration with Auguste Soesastro also introduces The Gaia Hotel Bandung's new uniforms which will be launched on 2027.
The anniversary celebration, taking place on Sunday, 1 November 2026, invites guests to experience these ideas through an evening dedicated to design and creativity. Beginning with a showcase of functional fashion by ANS.EIN, the celebration continues with cocktails and an interactive DIY T-shirt experience. Guests will then be introduced to the hotel's new uniforms in a special showcase with Auguste Soesastro, followed by an anniversary dinner that brings everyone together in celebration of five meaningful years.
