Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar Brings Goodness with “IHG Giving for Good”

Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar proudly joins the global initiative “IHG Giving for Good,” a movement by IHG Hotels & Resorts that focuses on sustainability and kindness. Throughout this month, the hotel is presenting a series of meaningful activities dedicated to the environment, health, and social care together with the Bandung community.

In collaboration with Sugar Souvenir, a local eco-conscious creative enterprise from Bandung, the hotel launched the Drop Box Upcycle program—transforming textile and plastic waste into eco-friendly souvenirs of both aesthetic and economic value. The initiative was officially introduced during a Talk Show & Launching Event at Dagoan Lounge, which became a platform for exchanging ideas on sustainability, upcycling, and creative entrepreneurship, while reinforcing Bandung’s role as a hub for eco-friendly innovation. The Drop Box Upcycle is now available at the hotel lobby, inviting guests and the community to contribute directly.

To commemorate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel also hosted a heartwarming Picnic Day with children from Yayasan Kasih Anak Kanker Indonesia – Bandung. Supported by Namaste Organic, the day was filled with laughter, shared meals, and joyful activities, creating moments of togetherness and hope. More than just an event, it was a testament to the power of kindness, shared experiences, and lasting memories.

Continuing the month-long series, Hotel Indigo Bandung partnered with Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Bandung and InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar to hold a blood donation drive, complemented by eye and general health check-ups. This initiative not only emphasized physical wellness but also highlighted the importance of social compassion, where every drop of blood has the power to save lives.
