This story follows the life of a ronggeng dancer (kembang bale). In Panyutran, a village in Padaherang, Pangandaran, West Java, a Kembang Bale is born from the hardships of her childhood.

As she enters her teenage years, she is chosen by the elder mountain ronggeng dancers to be the successor as a true ronggeng. Poverty drives her to enter the world of ronggeng, but as time goes on, this world pulls her deeper into understanding the true essence of being a ronggeng (kembang bale).
