Ambarrukmo is proud to announce the release of SOJOURN, the latest album from Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo (KSA). As Ambarrukmo’s signature Intellectual Property ecosystem, Kelana Swara seamlessly blends traditional Indonesian musical heritage with modern digital synthesis, offering a profound exploration of musical artistry.
More than just an album, SOJOURN serves as a medium for sound healing, illustrating how music acts as a transformative tool for wellness. To provide a truly immersive experience, the album has been released as a curated package in collaboration with the Ambarrukmo hotel group—including Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta, GRAMM Hotel, and PORTA—bringing inclusive wellness to the heart of Yogyakarta.
SOJOURN was officially released on February 7, 2026, in collaboration with the Borobudur Authority and Remen Jawi at DeLoano Glamping Menoreh.
Soundscape of Serenity
Ambarrukmo proudly presents Soundscape of Serenity, a collaborative program developed with Remen Jawi and the Borobudur Authority Agency. The sessions are led by Padma Adhi Sanjaya, a mindfulness and art therapy expert, and Agustin Sulistyawati, a registered yoga teacher and Yoga Alliance educator.
Soundscape of Serenity features SOJOURN songs to create a calm and vibrant atmosphere, befitting the pine forests of the Borobudur plateau. Other activities at the event include dressing styles, mindful eating, mandala creation, forest bathing, vine yoga, silent meditation, and art sessions.
At Soundscape of Serenity, guests listen to SOJOURN songs such as Gong Song, Sands of Time, Lotus Dreams, and Fragments of the Sunken World. These songs help guests feel relaxed and calm.
SOJOURN Album
Wellness practices have become a global phenomenon and a new lifestyle for many young people in Indonesia, especially in Yogyakarta. As an archipelagic nation, Indonesia boasts indigenous wellness practices that have existed for over a thousand years.
Yogyakarta's biodiversity and geology make it a prime wellness destination for international tourists. Indonesia is ranked 19th among destination markets by spending by 2024, according to the Global Wellness Institute 2025 report.
This figure has increased by 6.9% over the past six years, with 13.7 million trips expected by 2024. Ambarrukmo sees this as an opportunity to explore the potential of Yogyakarta's wellness scene.
The album SOJOURN features 11 different songs, each inspired by a "Liminal Tranquility Experience." The album offers a humorous look at the ocean as a living entity, symbolizing how human stories are carried as footprints throughout time.
The track list includes Gong Song, Arpeggio Telon, Segara, Sands of Time, Quiet Pulse, Beyond Boundaries of Dawn, Kupu-Kupu/Padhang Bulan, Tidal Dance, Lotus Dance, and Fragments of the Sunken World.
Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo's Kaleidoscope
Since the official release of Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo in 2023, numerous collaborations have taken place over the past three years. Ambarrukmo created Kelana Swara to represent the company's mission to provide an aural experience that inspires innovation for art lovers.
Through a format that encourages collaboration and synergy, Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo opens up opportunities to meet other artists and musicians. Obah Osik, Kelana Swara's first album, features traditional musical instruments and emphasizes the Javanese values of Wiraga (Body), Wirama (Rhythm), and Wirasa (Feeling), showcasing Javanese music.
In 2024, Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo released the Nada Kencana Performance series, a series of music sessions featuring talented local artists from Bandung, Jakarta, Bali, and Surakarta. This series includes memorable collaborations with artists such as Putu Septa, Dimas (Spinsugar), Majid Alska, Kalitan Selekta, Alunan Nusantara, DAAN, and Lokananta Record Store, where each performance offers a nostalgic experience with a repertoire of iconic 90s songs.
Interspatial Frequencies is an audio content program focused on ambient music trends, a collaboration with the Jogja Noise Bombing Festival 2025. It was an incredible experience collaborating with Anquan, Fra Zedde, JacqNoise I SHAPE+, and Uya Cipriano. Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo's music is now available on Spotify, YouTube, and Bandcamp.
