Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo Introduces SOJOURN Album
Through a Multisensory Experience with Arcadaz The Public Bar
Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo launches its second album, titled “SOJOURN,” in response to the concept of “Liminal Tranquility Experience.” Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo is an Intellectual Property (IP) of Ambarrukmo created to offer an immersive experience that explores the sensory dimensions of sound in the pursuit of tranquillity. Focusing on the intersection of culture and musical art, Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo aims to create a moment of pause, allowing listeners to reconnect with themselves and immerse themselves in the surrounding atmosphere.
To introduce the SOJOURN album to a wider audience, Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo collaborated with Arcadaz to launch a session titled “DERU,” held on Thursday, 22 October 2026, at Arcadaz (5th Floor, GRAMM Hotel by Ambarrukmo). The event offered all participants a multisensory experience, featuring selected tracks from the SOJOURN album accompanied by Arcadaz’s signature cocktails and mocktails.
The event was divided into five main sessions. The first session opened with the track Arpeggio Telon, paired with Grace Jones, a cocktail inspired by Grace Jones, an iconic disco figure of the 1970s. The track combines polyrhythmic compositions, representations of colliding ocean waves, and repetitive patterns.
The second session continued with the playback of Sands of Time, accompanied by a Margarita. Sands of Time is a track designed to promote relaxation through organic sonic elements. This was followed by Beyond of the Boundaries of Dawn, which represents dynamic and more cheerful rhythms.
The fourth track featured in the DERU session was Lotus Dream, presenting a contemplative composition with a calmer atmosphere, paired with a cocktail called Cheesecake, one of Arcadaz’s special menu offerings. Finally, Fragments of the Sunken World was paired with the Watermellow mocktail. The track interprets a relatively aggressive composition and represents the musical art of Bali’s distinctive Gong Kebyar tradition.
The SOJOURN album by Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo features 11 tracks, available to listen to on Spotify and Bandcamp. Ambarrukmo hopes that SOJOURN will serve as a medium for listeners to explore their emotions while acting as a bridge towards self-discovery. Kelana Swara Ambarrukmo also welcomes collaborations with artists, musicians, and other collectives to explore and develop various creative possibilities.
