Garrya Bianti Yogyakarta Presents Lelaku Rasa:
A Mindfulness & Mandala Art Wellness Event
In a life shaped by constant movement, daily responsibilities, and competing demands, finding time to pause and reconnect with onself can often be overlooked. “Lelaku Rasa”, a three-hour mindfulness and mandala art drawing at Garrya Bianti Yogyakarta, offers an opportunity to step back, become more aware of the present moment, and explore personal reflection through creative expression.
Inspired by the Javanese concept of ruwat, traditionally associated with release and renewal, the experience draws on the idea of restoring balance and making space for a renewed sense of wholeness. Rather than seeking to become someone different, Lelaku Rasa invites participants to recognise what they have been carrying, consider what they wish to let go of, and reflect on what they would like to nurture within themselves.
Taking place on Saturday, 14 November 2026, at the resort’s Riverside Deck, the session begins with a grounding practice by the river, bringing attention to the breath, bodily sensations and surrounding environment. Participant will then explore mandala art through geometric patterns, lines, and colours, using the creative process as a personal form of expression. There is no expectation of artistic skill or a perfect outcome; the focus is on the experience of creating, observing, and reflecting.
The session will be facilitated by Padma Sanjaya, Art Therapy Practitioner & Mental Health Counsellor, and will conclude with a reflective session and nourishment.
