Magnolia Restaurant at The Westin Surabaya recently introduced La Tavola Italian, a special culinary collaboration that brought the authentic flavors of Italy from Bali to Surabaya. Partnering with Bene Italian Kitchen at Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort, the restaurant presented an exclusive dining experience through two special events: an Italian Dinner on 30 May 2026 and Le Grande Sunday Brunch on 31 May 2026.

La Tavola Italian brings the warmth, flavors, and traditions of Italy to Surabaya through an authentic dining experience.

The launch was welcomed with great enthusiasm as guests gathered to experience a carefully curated Italian feast led by Chef Vinsensius Aditantra, Sous Chef of Bene Italian Kitchen, together with Chef Patrick Wilfred, Executive Sous Chef of Magnolia Restaurant. Combining traditional Italian recipes with modern culinary techniques, the collaboration showcased the richness and diversity of Italian gastronomy through a selection of signature dishes and premium ingredients. Guests enjoyed Magnolia Restaurant’s renowned International Grand Buffet, enhanced with authentic Italian specialties specially curated by Chef Vinsensius. Signature creations included Tartare di Tonno, Agnolotti all'Aragosta, and Fracosta di Manzo, each highlighting the essence of Italy’s culinary heritage while offering flavors that remain approachable and enjoyable for Indonesian diners.


According to Oka Pradana, Outlet Manager of Magnolia Restaurant, the collaboration reflects the restaurant’s commitment to delivering distinctive dining experiences. Located high above West Surabaya, Magnolia Restaurant offers panoramic city views that complement its extensive selection of Asian, European, and international cuisine. Through La Tavola Italian, guests were able to enjoy a unique combination of global flavors and authentic Italian dishes in an elegant setting. 

The success of the collaboration has inspired Magnolia Restaurant to continue the Italian culinary journey beyond the initial event period. Starting from 19 June until 31 July 2026, guests will be able to experience Sapori d'Italia Corner, a dedicated Italian culinary station featuring a curated selection of authentic Italian dishes prepared by Magnolia Restaurant’s culinary team. Adi Kurniawan, Complex Assistant Food & Beverage Marketing Manager, explained that the name La Tavola Italian was inspired by the Italian expression “A Tavola!”, which means “Come to the table, the food is ready.” The concept was created to reflect warmth, togetherness, and meaningful dining moments, making it suitable for families, couples, and professionals alike.

In addition to the culinary offerings, guests can enjoy attractive dining promotions. The International Grand Buffet Dinner is available starting from IDR 888,000++ per person, including a special Buy 1 Get 1 promotion and an additional 20% discount on weekdays. Weekend guests can also enjoy complimentary free-flow cocktails. Meanwhile, Le Grande Sunday Brunch: Sapori d’Italia Corner is available every Sunday at IDR 888,000++ per person. The package includes Buy 1 Get 1, free-flow cocktails, swimming pool access, and access to the Westin Kids Club, creating an ideal weekend experience for families and loved ones.
