COMO The Treasury—Perth’s acclaimed luxury retreat—will mark its 10th anniversary with a month-long series of exclusive events, thoughtfully curated to showcase the finest in food, wine, art, and culture this October. Located within the historic State Buildings, the hotel was conceived as the crown jewel of Perth’s urban renewal—honouring its heritage architecture while transforming the space into a contemporary destination for culinary and cultural excellence.
Since opening in 2015 under the design direction of the late Kerry Hill, COMO The Treasury has garnered national and international acclaim for its timeless design, exceptional service, and commitment to sustainability – including a three-star rating for Wildflower in the West Australian Good Food Guide 2025, Three Chef Hat rating in the Australian Good Food Guide 2025, being named among Australasia’s Best Hotels (7th) in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2024, and most recently taking home the Best Accommodation Hotel Award – Metro and the Environmental Services Award at the 2025 Australian Hotels Association Awards. As part of its 10th anniversary, COMO The Treasury will collaborate with COMO Orchard and COMO Dempsey in Singapore – two trailblazing lifestyle destinations that cultivate culinary innovation and creativity – to bring a world-class lineup of events to Perth.

“We are incredibly proud to celebrate 10 years of COMO The Treasury,” said Jesse Tibert, General Manager of COMO The Treasury.
Among the headline events:
• The viral French pâtissier Cédric Grolet’s team from COMO Orchard will present an exquisite week of afternoon tea events in the Cape Arid Rooms, elevating Perth’s high teascene from 8th October.
• The team behind Torno Subito will bring a taste of the Italian Riviera to POST, COMO The Treasury’s city osteria. Inspired by the brainchild of Massimo Bottura, the world-renowned chef behind the three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana in Modena, this exclusive dining experience unites the creative flair of Torno Subito and the seasonal elegance of POST, launching on 21st October.
• For 2 days only on 28th and 29th October, diners will have the opportunity to experience an exclusive 4-hands lunch or dinner between Michelin-starred Chef Malcolm Lee of Pangium and Chef Paul Wilson of Wildflower. This unique collaboration brings together two visionary chefs and their distinct culinary philosophies – celebrating the bold, refined flavours of Straits cuisine alongside the vibrant, seasonal bounty of native Australian ingredients.

• In a stunning partnership of cultural celebration, COMO The Treasury invites the Australian Chamber Orchestra into the Postal Hall for one exclusive evening of performance and conversation. Led by the indomitable Richard Tognetti with the ACO string quartet – the event will take place on 9th October.
• A thought-provoking conversation and performance series across each Wednesday in October, ‘Our Great State’ celebrates the storytelling, the custodians, the provocateurs, and the leaders who make Western Australia phenomenal, across Film, Art, Design, Performance and Stewardship. Most importantly, we will celebrate the official 10th Anniversary on the 15th October with a unique performance in the round, led by Dr. Richard Wally OAM, Iain Grandage AM, local songstress, Ali Bodycoat and special guests. This is Our Great State.
• Vasse Felix, one of Margaret River’s founding wineries, will unveil their Icon Range, including the 10th vintage of the prestigious Tom Cullity, with Chief Winemaker Virginia Willcock, through an intimate tasting, sharing the rich stories behind each exceptional wine. The experience will be elevated by a bespoke menu from Wildflower Head Chef Paul Wilson, thoughtfully designed to complement the elegance and depth of the wines.
Additional highlights include visits to Philippa Nikulinsky’s home studio, wellness workshop with Sodashi natural skincare founder Megan Larsen, live music performances in the Postal Hall, a Beer Corner Degustation, and a Champagne brunch in the new State Cellars Wine Room to celebrate Global Champagne Day, along with the Long Chim Night Markets – ensuring there’s something to delight every guest.
Tilbert added that this milestone is a testament to the passion of the team, the loyalty of guests, and the vibrant local community. "We look forward to welcoming both longtime friends and new visitors to join us in this unforgettable celebration,” she said.
