Since its founding in 2020, JHL Collection has carved a distinctive place in Indonesia’s hospitality landscape. Known for bold design, personalized service, and a philosophy rooted in “Light Hospitality” — an approach that blends warmth, elegance, and forward-thinking experiences — the brand has redefined what modern luxury can look and feel like.
JHL Collection Celebrates Five Years of Light Hospitality with 5TEPS TO THE FUTURE
Over the past five years, JHL Collection has evolved from developing its own properties to managing six unique brands across Indonesia and Cambodia. Guided by a clear vision to become a beacon of excellence grounded in Indonesian culture yet aligned with global standards, the group remains steadfast in its purpose-driven growth. Its mission is to manage a diverse, ethical, and sustainable portfolio — placing people, innovation, and meaningful guest experiences at the core of its operations.
To mark this significant milestone, JHL Collection proudly presents “5TEPS TO THE FUTURE”, a celebratory campaign that reflects on the brand’s journey while envisioning the road ahead. Centered on five core values — Steps of Excellence, Steps of Giving, Steps of Creativity, Steps of Possibilities, and Steps of Mindfulness — the campaign encapsulates the heart of JHL Collection.

“This celebration is not just about a number, but about our collective journey,” said Kay Tadjoedin, Corporate Director of Marketing at JHL Collection. “Every step we’ve taken is rooted in values that define us and guide the future we aim to shape.”
Steps of Excellence
JHL Collection continues to grow with intention, adding new destinations while upholding its high standards of service and design. From the flagship JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong to the scenic Kencana Valley at JSI Resort, the group recently expanded its footprint with two remarkable additions: Noema Resort in Pererenan, Bali, and Arjuna Resort & Spa in Sihanoukville, Cambodia.
Steps of Creativity
At the heart of the brand’s innovation culture is the Limitless Ideas Box, an internal platform where employees are encouraged to share transformative ideas. One standout initiative came from Mega Puji, Sales Coordinator at JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong, who proposed the Sales Army Program — empowering staff to promote JHL Collection through personal networks. Supported by tailored training, special rates, exclusive perks, and content creation, the program is now being rolled out group-wide. The top ideas for 2025 will be announced during the anniversary celebration.
Steps of Giving
Through its CSR initiative, Jejak Hati Langkahmu, JHL Collection reinforces its commitment to uplifting underserved communities. One recent highlight is “Run with Mission,” a June 2025 collaboration with sister company GRID Fitness Hub. The initiative distributed over a thousand pairs of shoes to students in underprivileged schools across Tangerang, Bogor, Bali, Sumba, Kupang, Maluku, and Papua — helping children take real steps toward a brighter future. In 2024, the initiative also supported the construction of Shine School in Muara Angke. More meaningful projects are planned under this growing movement.

Step of Possibilities
In the digital realm, JHL Collection is set to launch its revamped website — a new platform that offers immersive storytelling, better user experience, and enhanced integration with guest services. With this step, the group invites both new and returning guests to explore a future filled with richer experiences, online and offline.
Step of Mindfulness
Introducing 5TEPS of the Heart, a wellness journey designed to align with the anniversary campaign’s core pillars. This reflective experience combines sensory and mindfulness activities, inviting guests to reconnect with themselves and their surroundings through programs that embody the spirit of excellence, giving, creativity, possibilities, and presence.

As part of the celebration, JHL Collection extends its gratitude to loyal guests with “FREEDEM80,” a limited-time offer for MyJHL loyalty members in honor of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day.
