Brings Action and Awareness to Preserve Culture and Support Local Communities in North Sumatra

A Meaningful Journey to the Beauty of Lake Toba

In the spirit of social care and cultural preservation, ARYADUTA Medan held a special initiative titled “Asta Karya for Toba: Journey of Care to Lake Toba,” a meaningful journey that combined nature, heritage, and community action. This activity was part of the ASTA KARYA 2025 campaign, inspired by the timeless legend “The Origin of Lake Toba.”

The team departed from Medan to Tongging, one of the most scenic points overlooking Lake Toba. The program was made possible through collaboration between ARYADUTA Medan, Medan Ride Familia (MERIF) motorcycle community, and Blue Bird, all united in the spirit of camaraderie and social responsibility throughout the journey.

Social Action for Education Around Toba

As part of the trip, ARYADUTA Medan carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at SD Pangambatan, Merek. Together with Siloam Dhirga Surya Medan, the hotel donated school supplies to local students as a contribution to improving education access in the Lake Toba area.

The event was filled with joy and gratitude as students performed the traditional Batak Toba “Tor-tor” dance, followed by an interactive dance session with representatives from ARYADUTA Medan, MERIF, and Blue Bird. The moment reflected unity, cross-sector collaboration, and a deep respect for local culture as an integral part of the Toba identity.
