Continuing this spirit, Melissa now introduces its latest collaboration with GANNI, the Copenhagen-based contemporary fashion house known for its modern, effortless, and playful design approach.

Through the global Melissa x GANNI collaboration, both brands introduce a limited-edition footwear collection inspired by Copenhagen’s carefree summer spirit. The collection represents the meeting point between Melissa’s innovative craftsmanship and GANNI’s bold, expressive, and unapologetically cool contemporary fashion perspective. Combining vibrant colors, tactile details, and versatile silhouettes, the collection is designed to represent effortless yet statement-making summer dressing.

 

“Melissa x GANNI showcases a natural blend of two strong brand characters — Melissa’s playful and expressive spirit alongside GANNI’s effortless and modern fashion approach. The result is a bold, wearable collection that represents the individuality of both brands,” Sara added.

 

In this latest collection, Melissa and GANNI launch two main silhouettes: the Melissa Thong Kitten Heel and Melissa Flip Flop Slim. The Melissa Thong Kitten Heel presents a modern reinterpretation of the classic flip-flop sandal through a feminine silhouette featuring a sleek and elevated kitten heel. Meanwhile, the Melissa Flip Flop Slim delivers a playful look with ruffle strap details that add an expressive and feminine touch to the minimalist summer footwear design.

 

Both silhouettes are available in vibrant color options such as red, yellow, blue, and black, complemented by leopard print motifs that serve as one of the collection’s statement elements. Every design is created to complement the GANNI High Summer collection while reflecting the expressive, versatile, and fashion-forward identities of both brands.

 

GANNI Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup shared that the collaboration was inspired by Copenhagen’s endless summer feeling. “We wanted to create shoes that are fun, expressive, and easy to wear throughout the day — from cycling around the city to enjoying time by the water,” she said.

 

Meanwhile, Melissa Brand Director Paulo Pedó added that the collaboration brings together two design perspectives with equally strong characters. According to him, GANNI’s playful yet modern fashion approach naturally blends with Melissa’s innovative and expressive DNA.

 

Bringing the spirit of Copenhagen’s endless summer to Indonesia, the Melissa x GANNI collection officially launched on May 18, 2026, through a global launch at Plaza Senayan. The limited-edition collection then became available starting May 19, 2026, at Melissa boutiques in Grand Indonesia and Pondok Indah Mall, as well as online through melissa.co.id, offering a playful, bold, and effortlessly expressive interpretation of summer dressing.
