The odd-even traffic restrictions in Jakarta will be temporarily suspended from 18th to 24th March 2026, coinciding with the collective holiday period and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H. The decision is expected to help ease mobility during the Eid travel season, when millions of residents leave the capital for the annual homecoming.
Meanwhile, the odd-even traffic rule remains active on 16-17th March in two daily sessions: 6-10 AM and 4-9 PM.
Vehicles that violate the regulation may face traffic fines of up to Rp500,000, in accordance with Article 287 of Indonesia’s Traffic and Road Transportation Law.
