Hennessy MyWay 2026 Crowns Putra Galantza as Indonesia’s National Champion
Putra Galantza of Artesian Bar Jakarta takes the national title and will represent Indonesia at the Hennessy MyWay Global Final in France
Hennessy proudly announces Putra Galantza of Artesian Bar Jakarta as the National Champion of Hennessy MyWay Indonesia 2026, following the National Finals held on 13 August 2026 at The St. Regis Bar Jakarta. Emerging from a highly competitive field of Indonesia’s bartending talents, Putra Galantza secured the national title and will now represent Indonesia at the Hennessy MyWay Global Final in France.
Hennessy MyWay is Hennessy’s global cocktail competition, celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and individuality while encouraging bartenders to explore new approaches to cocktail making. Now in its fourth year in Indonesia, the 2026 edition continues Hennessy’s commitment to supporting the country’s bartending community and creating opportunities for local talent to take their craft to the global stage. This year, the competition brought together bartenders from across the country through a nationwide call for submissions, followed by physical judging sessions held across Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Balikpapan, and Bali.
From the initial pool of participants, ten bartenders advanced to the semifinal stage before five finalists were selected to compete for the national title. The National Finals marked the culmination of this journey, bringing Indonesia’s Top 5 finalists together for one final challenge (Putra Galantza, Artesian Bar Jakarta; Dek Arya,

Padma Resort Legian Bali; I Kadek Wahyu Sastrawan, Jumeirah Bali; Ni Ketut Fridayanti, La Brisa Bali; Rheina Lydian, Spiegel All Day Bar & Dining Semarang).
For the National Finals, each finalist was tasked with creating and presenting a new cocktail, distinct from their semifinal submission. This allowed the finalists to further demonstrate their creativity, technical ability, and individual approach to bartending. Alongside their cocktail, they also presented their service ritual and overall guest experience as part of the final evaluation.
The finalists were evaluated by a five-member judging panel, focused on five key areas: drinkability, sustainability, ritual serve, product knowledge, and visual presentation. The panel assessed how these elements came together to create a cohesive experience while reflecting each bartender’s identity, story, and approach to their craft.

Through his final presentation, Putra Galantza demonstrated a strong understanding of the competition’s core values, combining creativity and craftsmanship with a distinctive interpretation of Hennessy. His final cocktail, service ritual, and overall presentation showcased a thoughtful approach to storytelling and execution, ultimately earning him the highest recognition from the judging panel.
“Winning Hennessy MyWay Indonesia 2026 is an incredible honour and a meaningful milestone in my bartending journey. I’m grateful for the opportunity to share my creativity and passion for the craft, and I’m excited to represent Indonesia on the global stage in France. I hope to bring not only my cocktail, but also my story, identity, and the spirit of Indonesia to the Global Finals.” said Putra Galantza, Hennessy MyWay Indonesia 2026 National Champion

The global stage will provide an opportunity for him to further showcase his creativity and craftsmanship while representing Indonesia among an international community of bartending talents.
Hennessy MyWay continues to provide a platform for bartenders to develop their craft, express their individuality, and gain international exposure while showcasing Indonesia’s creativity to the global bartending community. Through the competition, Hennessy remains committed to supporting the growth of Indonesia’s bartending community and creating opportunities for local talent to take their craft to the global stage.
