
Indonesia’s independent choir, Dux Stella Voce, has once again made the nation proud with a stellar performance at the Tokyo International Choir Competition (TICC) 2025 in Japan. Competing against a wide array of international ensembles, the choir mesmerized both audiences and judges, earning praise for their artistry, passion, and technical excellence.

Carrying the spirit of unity and dedication to choral artistry, Dux Stella Voce emerged as one of the Grand Prix Finalists, a testament to their compelling presence and musical finesse. They claimed top honors in the Mixed Choir category with a score of 95.35 and triumphed in the Contemporary Music category with an outstanding 96.10, securing Gold Prizes in both.
The choir’s exceptional interpretations were also recognized with two special jury awards: Best Interpretation for the Set Piece for their evocative performance of San Sui, and Best Interpretation for Classical Music for their moving rendition of Ehre Sei Gott in der Höhe by Felix Mendelssohn, lauded for its emotional depth and precision.
This international acclaim arrives as Dux Stella Voce celebrates its third anniversary, marking a major milestone in their journey.
