“LOST BOY IN WONDERLAND”,  An Art Exhibition by Alexander Chris 
at Mangkuluhur ARTOTEL Suites

Mangkuluhur ARTOTEL Suites proudly presents a contemporary art exhibition titled “Lost Boy in Wonderland” by emerging Cianjur-based artist, Alexander Chris. Curated by Agung Frigidanto, the exhibition officially opens on Friday, 9 May 2025 at 7:00 PM at ARTSPACE, Mangkuluhur ARTOTEL Suites, and will run until 9 August 2025.
 

Through this exhibition, Alexander Chris invites visitors into a reflective space that explores how individuals navigate the pressures of modern life within the confines of time and space. With bold visual approaches, such as splattered techniques, magenta-toned color palettes, and artificial compositions, Chris creates imaginative landscapes that interweave historical archives, collective memory, and present-day realities.

Alexander Chris is a young contemporary artist known for his narrative-based conceptual work, often rooted in historical study and visual reconstruction. Active in the Cianjur arts community, Chris not only produces compelling visual work but also contributes as a curator and cultural advocate.
