PFN Partners with Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta to Celebrate 64th
Anniversary with Legendary Character Si Unyil
PT Produksi Film Negara (Persero) (PFN) has announced an exclusive collaboration featuring their legendary intellectual property (IP), Si Unyil, at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta. The partnership is launched in celebration of the 64th anniversary of Hotel Indonesia, which falls on 5 August 2026.
The collaboration seamlessly blends cultural heritage, nostalgia, and luxury hospitality under the theme "Si Unyil and Friends' Vacation to Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta." Beloved characters from the fictional Sukamaju Village, including Si Unyil, Usro, Ucrit, Meilani, and Pak Ogah, will invite guests to experience the unique charm and premium services of the iconic hotel.
A Feast of Nostalgia and Family Activities
Throughout the activation, families can enjoy an array of engaging, themed activities designed for all generations. Children and parents can embark on a fun stamp-hunting adventure around the hotel premises with the Holiday Passport, whilst guests can acquire exclusive, limited-edition Si Unyil Flazz cards.
Dining experiences are also elevated, with Signatures Restaurant hosting a curated Weekend Brunch featuring the iconic Rujak Bu Bariah and a selection of Indonesian desserts inspired by the favourites of Si Unyil and his friends, such as kue pukis, amongst other culinary offerings. This experience includes interactive meet-and-greets alongside children's colouring activities, while Kempi Deli showcases a limited-edition menu of exclusive Si Unyil-themed desserts. Furthermore, the event offers a unique opportunity for heritage education, allowing guests to rediscover the rich history of Hotel Indonesia as one of the nation’s pioneering luxury hospitality icons.
Bridging History and Modern Culture
Christo Putra Aris, Production Director of PFN, highlighted the significance of the event, noting that it brings together two renowned Indonesian icons that share deep historical value and emotional connections with the public.
"Si Unyil was originally created to instill positive values such as togetherness, tolerance, mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and a profound love for Indonesian culture, in children through an engaging format," Christo stated, adding that this is precisely the essence they are preserving and reintroducing to today’s audience.
Echoing these sentiments, Petra Baumann, General Manager of Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta, expressed great enthusiasm for the collaboration's ability to offer cross-generational education and nostalgia.

Event Schedule and Availability
Si Unyil and friends will be present at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski Jakarta from 11 July to 31 August 2026, with the peak of the anniversary celebrations taking place on 5 August 2026.

11 July – 31 August 2026: The Weekend Brunch (featuring character meet-and-greets and children's activities) at Signatures Restaurant and the limited-edition dessert menu at Kempi Deli.
1 – 31 August 2026: The Holiday Passport stamp-hunting activity and the exclusive collaboration Flazz Cards.
