FOR “FLAVOUR OF SINGAPORE” EXPERIENCE AT SATOO
Shangri-La Jakarta is delighted to present an exclusive culinary offering with Guest Chef Mazlan Boyamin, bringing the rich and diverse flavours of Singapore to SATOO from 22 to 31 August 2025.
With more than two decades of culinary expertise, Chef Mazlan is celebrated for his artistry and dedication to preserving authentic Asian flavours while elevating them with modern finesse. His distinguished career includes cooking for the President of Singapore and esteemed international dignitaries, as well as participating in prestigious international culinary showcases and other globally recognized events. Internationally trained and widely respected as a culinary educator, Chef Mazlan has also mentored aspiring chefs through his teaching and consulting engagements across Asia.

At SATOO, Chef Mazlan will curate a lavish dining journey that captures the essence of Singapore’s gastronomic heritage. Guests may begin with the comforting richness of Singapore Laksa or explore hearty noodle favourites such as Wanton Soup, Prawn Noodle and Fish Ball Noodle. Signature dishes, including Hainanese Chicken Rice with condiments, Yam Rice with Braised Duck, and tender Char Siew and Siew Yoke, evoke the authentic tastes of Singapore’s hawker culture. Appetisers such as Singapore Rojak, Satay Bee Hoon and the delicate Popiah and Kueh Pie Tee provide a refreshing introduction, while an impressive selection of mains awaits you, from the Ayam Masak Merah, Singapore Chicken Curry, Nasi Lemak, Sambal Kangkong, Trio Egg Spinach in Superior Stock and Mee Goreng Mamak to the unmissable Singapore Chilli Crab served with golden Mantou.
Street favourites such as Salted Egg Yolk Prawns, Mee Siam, Roti John, Lamb Biryani and Roti Prata with Fish Curry bring a sense of vibrant authenticity, while the finale is sweetly marked by an indulgent dessert spread featuring Ice Kachang, Chendol, Bubur Cha Cha, Bean Curd with Gingko and Barley, Pisang Goreng and an assortment of traditional Jajanan Pasar.
