Diponegoro Brings 7 Paintings’ Immersive Art Dining Experience to the Table
An immersive journey combining art, technology,
and culinary artistry at Sea Grain Restaurant & Bar, starting 23 October 2026.
DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro announces a collaboration with 7 Paintings, bringing an immersive art and dining experience to Sea Grain Restaurant & Bar every Friday and Saturday, starting 23 October 2026.
Set on the hotel’s third floor, 7 Paintings transforms an evening of dining into a 2.5-hour multisensory journey combining a seven-course menu with theatrical storytelling, 3D projection mapping, music, and interactive experiences.
“7 Paintings brings a new dimension to dining at Sea Grain Restaurant & Bar. It transforms a seven-course dinner into an immersive experience where guests are invited to become part of the story, rather than simply watch it unfold,” said Sebastian Goldmann, General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro.
“Each element of the menu has been thoughtfully created to complement the story behind every act. Through the flavors, presentation, and textures of each dish, we want our guests to discover and experience art in a different way,” added Zulkarnain, Executive Chef of DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro.
As the experience unfolds, the dining table and surrounding space become part of the performance. Guests are invited to discover their creative side through interactive moments, including painting and solving riddles, before becoming part of the final masterpiece.
The culinary journey continues through seven artists and artistic movements, with each course inspired by a different creative style. The experience begins with a Michelangelo-inspired tomato praline served in a sesame tart shell, followed by creations inspired by Banksy, Pablo Picasso’s Cubism, Jackson Pollock’s Action Painting, and Andy Warhol. The evening continues with Salvador Dalí’s Surrealism before concluding with a chocolate painting inspired by Vincent van Gogh, completed tableside with citrus cake and a trio of sauces.
For vegetarian diners, the seven-course experience follows the same artistic journey, with thoughtfully crafted alternatives including tomato carpaccio with tofu and balsamic pearls, and grilled mushroom with couscous.
7 Paintings is available in three menu options: the Classic Menu at IDR 1,500,000 net per person, the Vegetarian Menu at IDR 1,300,000 net per person, and the Kids Menu at IDR 750,000 net per person. Drinks are available separately, including a four-glass wine pairing, Negroni welcome drink, and non-alcoholic Rosella Citrus Cooler.
Shows are held every Friday and Saturday at 7 PM at Sea Grain Restaurant & Bar, DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta – Diponegoro. Advance reservation is required, and guests are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before the show begins to settle in before the experience starts.
