Guests may choose from four curated set menus, which are Lucky, Reunion, Fortune, and Harmony, each featuring premium ingredients such as roasted duck, abalone, lobster, Wagyu beef, grouper, and traditional festive desserts. Every menu is symbolizing prosperity, harmony, and good fortune for the year ahead.

Poon Choi: A Heritage Lunar New Year Tradition

As a highlight of the season, Liu Li Palace introduces its Poon Choi selection — a heritage Cantonese tradition that remains rarely presented within Jakarta’s hotel dining scene.

Originating from traditional village celebrations in Southern China, Poon Choi, or “basin feast,” is a communal dish traditionally served during Lunar New Year and significant family occasions. Prepared and layered in a single pot, the dish symbolises unity, abundance, and shared blessings, with each ingredient carrying auspicious meaning, from premium seafood and meats to vegetables representing longevity and prosperity.
